Elroy Gremillion

Elroy sits on his stuffed and fringed chair  playin' his wooden fiddle unaware that a snake is hiding in the nearby tree among the cloth braids of "moss." He's already got his catch for the day sitting there in a real metal bucket while his idle cane pole dangles a dandy bobber.  The tree, the snake, the egret and fiddle and other items are added to the self-framed painting to create the three dimensional effect.
